Animal Kart Racer

The player picks a driver from a roster of sixteen comical animal characters, including a raccoon, a beaver, a wolf, a shark and a crocodile. Races take place across more than twenty tracks packed with sharp turns and hidden hazards. Courses are filled with destructible scenery that breaks apart on impact and ramps that launch the kart into the air. Environmental obstacles like fallen trees, loose rocks, patches of ice and oil slicks can send a run spinning off course. Racing takes place either on standard kart tracks or on water-based courses using boats instead of karts. This gives the full roster of characters two distinct vehicle types to master. Players can jump into single races for quick sessions or enter a tournament mode that strings multiple tracks together into a longer competition against computer-controlled opponents. A local multiplayer mode lets a second player join in for head-to-head races on the same screen. The core loop stays simple: memorize a track's turns and hazards, use ramps and shortcuts to gain ground, and avoid the obstacles that can cost a race. Each track rewards repeat runs as players learn its layout.
