You are the controller. Aircraft arrive on approach, taxi between gates and runways, and queue for departure, and every one of them waits on a clearance from you. The three calls you make are landing, takeoff, and taxi, and the whole game sits in the timing between them. Clear a departure too late and a landing aircraft has to go around; clear it too early and you have two aircraft on the same strip of asphalt. Delays count against you, so playing safe by spacing everything out is its own kind of failure. Twelve real-world airports are included, each with its own runway layout, crossing points, and traffic mix, so a plan that works at one becomes useless at the next. Pilots speak their readbacks aloud, which means you can often hear a problem building before you see it.
