Age of Mythology: Retold - Immortal Pillars

The base game is a real-time strategy game where players gather resources, build armies and call on mythological powers drawn from several pantheons. This expansion introduces a pantheon based on Chinese mythology, with twelve new gods to choose between, along with new myth units and god powers exclusive to that pantheon. Each god grants its own set of abilities that change how a match is played from the opening minutes.

A nine-mission campaign follows a new storyline inspired by Chinese legends. Introducing figures such as a serpent-bodied creator goddess, a war god with the head of a bull and a dragon that commands rain. Legendary myth units tied to this pantheon can be summoned in both the campaign and regular matches, each with unique combat abilities that fit alongside the existing Greek. Norse, Egyptian and Atlantean rosters.
