From Dust

Players act as an unseen force that picks up and places earth, water, and other materials to build protective walls, redirect floods, or clear paths for villagers walking toward sacred totems. Each level presents environmental threats such as tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, or wildfires that reshape the landscape in real time, requiring constant adjustment of the terrain to keep settlements safe. Its fluid, physics-based terrain manipulation, rather than direct control of units, makes landscape sculpting the core gameplay mechanic.

• Terrain manipulation Players move earth, water, and lava with physics-based effects.
• Village protection Settlers must be guided safely to sacred totems.
• Dynamic disasters Floods, eruptions, and wildfires reshape the map in real time.
• Indirect control Players shape the land itself rather than commanding units directly.
