Which click ids do you keep?

Awin's `awc`, Impact's `irclickid`, CJ's `cjevent`, and a generic `click_id` with `network`.

When are postbacks sent?

Three times at most per sale: when the buyer's payment is taken (`sale.locked`), when the hold ends and it will be paid (`sale.approved`), and if it is reversed (`sale.reversed`). We send within 15 minutes. A call that does not get a 2xx answer is retried, further apart each time, up to 8 tries.

Which affiliate networks can I use?

Awin, Impact and CJ. Use the link your network gives you, and sales report back to your network dashboard.

Can I use my own tracker instead of a network?

Yes. Set a postback address in your hub, and verify each call as above.

Partner postbacks and affiliate networks

You can track Andalu sales through Awin, Impact and CJ, or through your own tracker. We keep each network's click id with the click, and send a signed server-to-server postback each time a sale moves on: once the buyer's payment is taken, once its hold ends, and if it is reversed. Each postback carries a signature you check with your secret.

Set up a postback

In your hub, open Settings and enter your Postback URL.

Copy your postback secret. It is shown once, so keep it safe.

Select Send a test, and check your tracker received it.

Verify a postback

Read the Andalu-Signature header. It holds a time, t, and a signature, v1.

Join the time, a dot and the raw request body, and sign that with your secret using HMAC-SHA256.

Compare your result with v1. If they differ, or the time is more than a few minutes old, ignore the call.
