Can I install with mobile data instead of Wi-Fi?

Yes. Any working internet connection lets your phone download the eSIM. On an iPhone, Apple says a Wi-Fi network, a hotspot or a cellular connection all work. Wi-Fi is just the easiest before you travel.

Does Airplane Mode with Wi-Fi on work for installing?

Yes, as long as Wi-Fi is on and connected. Your phone only needs the internet connection to download the eSIM.

Can I install it at the airport?

Yes, on the airport's Wi-Fi or on your own mobile data. Installing at home first is easier, and it means you're online as soon as you land.

Do I need Wi-Fi to activate the eSIM when I land?

No. The eSIM joins a local network at your destination.
